“At Belmore Boys High School, we take pride in our level of responsiveness to our community needs. Our teaching and non-teaching staff have implemented creative approaches and routines to ensure that staff and students were supported as we navigated significant complexity. Our students were supported through a range of wellbeing and academic programs focusing on the social, emotional and academic growth of students. Our staff were empowered through professional learning activities focusing on growth in their practice as well as implementing positive wellbeing practices. Our families continued to work collaboratively with the school through a side curriculum designed to meet their needs, promote lifelong learning and improve the living conditions of Non-English speaking families. Our school motto, Nurturing Minds, Empowering Community reflects our deep commitment to personal growth and collective well-being. It signifies the importance of education, curiosity, and lifelong learning. It highlights the need to cultivate knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking in individuals, allowing them to reach their full potential.
