Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

At Belmore Boys High School, we are committed to providing an inclusive, high-quality education for every student. Our school community continues to be the foundation of everything we do, and our collective efforts are reflected in the growth we see each year.

Inclusion is central to how we operate. Our programs and practices are designed to ensure that every student feels known, valued and supported, regardless of background or circumstance. This commitment shapes our classrooms, our relationships and our culture.

We are equally committed to extending the opportunities available to our students. Our High Potential and Gifted Education programs continue to grow across a range of areas including academic, sports and leadership, ensuring that students who are ready to be challenged are given the pathways to do so. Programs such as the Elite Football Program and our university partnerships reflect the breadth of what is available to our students.

Our focus on learning environments means we are constantly improving the conditions in which students learn. Through evidence informed teaching practice and structured professional learning, our staff are working to ensure that every classroom is a place where students can engage deeply and make meaningful progress. Alongside this, we are strengthening our culture of academic rigour across the school. We want our students to develop the habits of mind, persistence, curiosity and disciplined effort that lead to genuine achievement, both here and beyond school.

Our school motto, Nurturing Minds, Empowering Community, continues to guide us.

Jennifer Minogue, Principal of Belmore Boys High School
