Belmore Boys High School has a comprehensive Career Education service Education service for students and supports the parent community in its delivery.

Career Education provides the following services:


·         A Careers Resources Room centrally located in the top level of the Library

·         Individual and group interviews with students and parents as requested

·         Regular communication of Career information through School newsletters

·         Work Experience for Year 10 students.

·         School to Work programs

·         Establishes links with Industry and employers

·         On line Career planning

·         Assistance with all areas of tertiary applications including University, TAFE and, Apprenticeships

·         Excursions to Industry, TAFE, University and Expos

·         Guest Speakers

·         Workshops in Employability Skills, Interview techniques and leadership skills

·         Career lessons involving Use of the Job Guide, Career resources, use of websites, workplace learning planning and individual student profiling

·         Resume/CV assistance

·         Awareness of OH&S  (Occupational Health &Safety)

·         Student assistance with employment opportunities.
